Sports Talker Craig Carton could be back on the air in October, according to a report in The New York Daily News. Carton was recently released from prison early after serving one year of his 3 1/2 year sentence for his role in a Ponzi scheme.

A little success for the FCC in its never-ending battle to beat back the pirates. The Commission says it has reached settlements with two Boston-area pirates, Acerome Jean Charles and Gerlens Cesar.

Commissioner Michael O'Rielly has been leading the charge against pirate radio stations for years. Following Wednesday's announcement that two illegal operators had agreed to shut down their stations and face substantial fines the Commissioner had this to say about advertisers and lawmakers that enable these lawbreakers.
