$650,000 was raised for Athletes for Justice's Austin Harvest food mart project as part of 670 The Score’s What About Chicago Radiothon. The event benefited former Chicago Bear Sam Acho’s organization and its mission to erase a food desert and build a permanent facility that can fully service those in need.

Eddie Garcia from The Bobby Bones Show completed a nearly 100 mile walk from Bluefield, West Virginia to Bristol, Tennessee this week as part of a fundraiser for National Angels, a non-profit that supports families in the foster care community.

Tavis Smiley's recently launched KBLA-AM in Los Angeles has added Black Information Network’s national news service. KBLA Talk 1580 is the only Black-owned and operated talk radio station in Southern California. BIN is syndicated by Premiere.

It's called 2400Sports and CEO David Field says the goal is to "build 2400Sports into the home of the country’s best sports podcasts." The new studio will include both new and existing original podcasts.

The Independent Broadcasters Association and Benztown are working together to build Radio Merch Shops for member stations. IBA member stations are now able to set up their own Merch Shop with customized and changeable branding for holidays, events, and more.

Audacy and the New England Patriots have signed a a multi-year extension to their broadcast partnership. The partnership between WEEI and the Patriots began in 1995.

The 2021 RTDNA/Newhouse School at Syracuse University newsroom survey is out and although people of color in radio newsrooms now include the highest percentage since 1998, nearly 85% of the radio news workforce is still white.

MVYRADIO will celebrate the move of its studios to an all-new facility in West Tisbury with a grand opening July 3rd. The event will feature a performance by Grammy-awarded singer Sarah Jarosz, as well as tours of the new building.

The Commission has introduced a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking to update regulations to better reflect current technical requirements and "eliminate redundant, outdated, or conflicting provisions" for radio stations.
