Audio marketing company CRN International has launched a new division to produce and distribute original podcasts. It's called Collisions and the first four original podcasts are already being produced.

The conservative news and opinion website has launched Did She Say That with host Sonnie Johnson. The show is a combination of conservative politics and hip-hop. Debuting Friday is The Milo Yiannopoulos Podcast, which will be a weekly discussion on technology, media, video games, politics, and Internet culture, hosted by technology editor Milo Yiannopoulos. The Academy of Podcasters has announced this year's hall of fame class, which will be inducted during the 2nd Annual Awards and Hall of Fame Ceremony. The award ceremony will take place on Wednesday, July 6 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. Doors open at 5 p.m. for a red carpet ceremony, and the awards show begins 7 p.m.

Univision Communications has launched a suite of new features on the Uforia music app. New functionalities include more than 25 stations by mood curated specifically for Hispanics, plus alarm clock, sleep timer and car mode features, all of which enable listeners to discover new music and stay close to their favorite radio stations and personalities at any time. The app has nearly four million downloads.

Barstool Sports has launched its third new show in the last two weeks. The Caleb Pressley Podcast features the same-name, former UNC football player and American Idol Season 2 contestant, as he covers a wide range of topics each week.

Comedian Jo Koy is jumping into the podcast game with his new show The Koy Pond on PodcastOne. Launching Monday, March 14, regular guests will include King Bach, Anjelah Johnson, and The Black Eyed Peas. A new episode will be available every Tuesday at PodcastOne.com, the PodcastOne app, and iTunes.

The January 2016 Triton Digital January ranker is out and it shows the month had 4.5 million active average sessions, which is slightly up from December, (M-F 6A-8P). When compared to January 2015, average active sessions grew 14% (M-F 6A-8P) and 11.3% (M-Sun 6A-Mid).

The name of the new podcast is "Embedded," and it's hosted by "All Things Considered" co-host Kelly McEvers. In each episode, McEvers and other NPR reporters are embedded newsmakers around the world, including Texas biker gangs, police on Skid Row, the makers of a negative political ad, and the people most affected by El Salvador's gang war.
