MediaDC, publisher of The Weekly Standard and Washington Examiner, and PodcastOne announced Thursday the launch of two new podcasts: Examining Politics by The Washington Examiner, and The Weekly Standard Confab.

PodcastOne announced Tuesday that Dr. Drew is teaming up again with Adam Carolla five days a week, this time with the daily Adam & Drew podcast. In each episode Adam and Drew take uncensored, nothing-off-limits, calls about sex, drug, medical and relationship issues. Dr. Drew brings the medicine while Adam's comedy and rants are the spoonful of sugar to make it go down.
iHeartRadio Surpasses 85 Million Registered Users
iHeartMedia announced that it now has 85 million iHeartRadio registered users. The company hit 80 million this past January, adding five million users in a little over three months. Also, the the iHeartRadio app has now been downloaded more than 900 million times. iHeartRadio is available on 80 unique platforms.

Greater Media has renewed its partnership with Triton Digital. Greater Media will continue to use Triton’s streaming technology across their 21 stations in Boston, Charlotte, Detroit, Philadelphia, and New Jersey.

It's a purchase Spotify says will help build out the tools it provides to artists who use Spotify to grow their listeners and overall business. The company is called CrowdAlbum.
TuneIn To Use Radio in New Branding Campaign
TuneIn is launching a new advertising campaign created by its first-ever agency, Durham, NC-based McKinney. The campaign will launch in radio, digital and social and be followed with out-of-home in New York, San Francisco, Chicago and Boston and Los Angeles. The campaign is called "Listen Like You Mean It," and it begins Thursday in Chicago and Boston.
SiriusXM Creates “Convention Radio” For RNC
SiriusXM announced Wednesday that P.O.T.U.S. channel 124 will transform into "Convention Radio" during the Republican National Convention. With attention focused on Cleveland, Ohio, SiriusXM will be live from the convention floor – including uninterrupted reporting of convention business beginning Monday, July 18.
Triton Lands Big Client In Japan
Triton Digital has signed a partnership deal with Cyber Communications, a subsidiary of advertising agency Dentsu, which is headquartered in Tokyo. This agreement will allow Triton to bring its online audio advertising exchange, a2x, to Japan. a2x enables programmatic buying of targeted online and mobile audio ad inventory.

ALERT FM to Interface with NextRadio
Global Security Systems announced at the NAB Show in Las Vegas that the NextRadio app team will review ways to interconnect with GSS’s ALERT FM emergency notification system to provide users with federal, state, and/or local information during the event of a man-made or natural disaster. This new feature is scheduled to be available to NextRadio users later this year.
