WGN Radio has launched its new traffic app, Traffix Chicago, which calculates the three quickest routes for any destination. Users get real-time data and tips coupled with audio traffic reports pertaining to the roads within a given journey.

NASCAR enthusiasts will be excited to know that Hall of Fame Crew Chief and NASCAR analyst Larry McReynolds debuts his new weekly show, Larry Mac: America’s Crew Chief, this week on PodcastOne. A new podcast is posted every Wednesday on PodcastOne.com, the PodcastOne app, and iTunes.

The audio and music platform will use Triton Digital's programmatic audio advertising exchange a2x. SoundCloud’s digital audio advertising inventory in the United States will now be part of Triton’s exchange. The addition of the U.S. market expands Triton and SoundCloud’s existing partnership, which covers Australia and Canada.

The Players’ Tribune is launching a podcast network, in partnership with DGital Media. The network will feature oral histories, athlete-hosted podcasts, a flagship show and other series. The network debuts January 26 with Giant Steps, an oral history that chronicles the rise of the Giants’ first Super Bowl championship in 1986.

The company announced three appointments to newly created leadership roles, Friday. All three are based in the company’s Cleveland headquarters and report directly to CEO Daniel Anstandig.

Triton Digital says Argentina's largest radio networks has selected Triton Digital to manage, measure, and monetize its digital audio content.

The two companies will team up to custom design a radio track called “Broadcasters Meet Podcasters” at Podcast Movement this August in Anaheim. The sessions will focus on how radio companies, stations, and personalities can succeed in the podcasting space.

It’s called Intelligence For Your Life and hosted by John Tesh, Connie Sellecca and Gib Gerard. The podcast will derive from The John Tesh Radio Show and Intelligence for Your Health with Connie Sellecca, heard on more than 350 stations nationwide by 23 million listeners each week.

The official mobile app for CRS is now available for download on iPhone and Android mobile devices. The app provides attendees with an expanded CRS agenda, panel descriptions, speaker bios, integrated calendar upgrades, CRS after-hour activities, CRS TV video clips, and other event news. CRS will be held Feb. 22-24 in Nashville.

It's a dedicated channel on Apple Music for the 24/7 sports radio network. CBS Radio launched CBS Sports Radio in January 2013. The network delivers national sports coverage and programming, including original content featuring commentary, analysis, and interviews hosted by leading sports figures.
