iHeartMedia’s WOR-AM in New York City, celebrated its 100th anniversary this week. Part of the celebration included lighting-up the Empire State Building with the station’s logo colors.
On Tuesday, Len Berman and Michael Riedel in the Morning kicked off the tribute by interviewing on-air hosts from WOR’s history to share memories of their time at the station. WOR will also air audio of historic moments were also aired, and listeners called in with their favorite WOR recollections.
