93Q 3-7 p.m. afternoon drive personality Rick Roberts, who has also been the station’s Music Director for 12 years, has been promoted to Assistant Program Director and Digital Content Manager for the station. Roberts has been with 93Q for 21 years. Meanwhile, Production Director Joey Walker has been promoted to the 93Q 10 a.m.-3 p.m. midday slot, and the role of Digital Content Manager for sister stations WAQX and WXTL.
Operations Manager Tom Mitchell said, “We are pleased to promote from within. In these new roles, both Rick and Joey will apply valuable fresh perspective to market leader 93Q. Rick assumes all Assistant Program Director duties, along with Digital Content oversight/management and the afternoon drive air shift. Joey brings talent and enthusiasm to the 93Q midday slot.
