Hope Media Group’s top content job is going away. Scott Herrold revealed on social media that his Chief of Content position has been eliminated. He will spend the next three weeks wrapping up a run dating to the Way Media and KSBJ Educational Foundation merger.

In March 2025, HMG elevated Herrold from Chief of Programming, a role he took in January 2023, to Chief of Content. The move added content strategy for the company’s streaming and digital platforms to his radio programming duties. Herrold wrote on LinkedIn, “I love this team and I’m walking away with a grateful heart and a whole lot of respect for some of the smartest leaders I’ve ever worked with.”

He closed his post by writing that he is looking to connect with anyone building something exciting. “While I’ve spent much of the last several years in executive leadership, I’ve never lost my love for the creative. I love building things. I love people. I love taking a big idea, figuring out how to actually make it work, and watching a team bring it to life.”
