Civic Media is on a roll. The Wisconsin-based public benefit corporation is at the center of the acquisition of a large slate of Iowa and Illinois stations from three separate sellers, its second Iowa move in less than a month, pending FCC approval of the sale.

Civic reached the agreement with Pritchard Broadcasting Corp., Titan Broadcasting, LLC, and Galesburg Broadcasting Company, according to a release from Kalil & Co., Inc., the exclusive broker on the transaction. The release does not include a purchase price.

The package covers 13 stations across southeast Iowa and west central Illinois.

In Burlington, IA, it includes Mix 107.3 (KGRS), 93.5 KKMI, Big Country 103.1 (KDMG), and Newsradio 99.3 & 1490 (KBUR-AM). In Fort Madison, IA, the stations are 101.7 The Bull (KBKB) and Fox Sports 104.5 & 1360 (KBKB-AM), and Hot 97.3 (KHDK) is in New London, IA. Dallas City, IL has KQ92 (WQKQ), and Galesburg, IL has FM 95 (WAAG), WGIL 93.7 & 1400 (WGIL-AM), 92.7 The Laser (WLSR), and Z106.1 (WZIE). Rounding out the list is 105.3 KFM (WKAY) in Knoxville, IL.

The release also includes three FM translators

Last month, Civic Media agreed to buy NRG Media’s four-station Cedar Rapids-Waterloo cluster through Cedar Basin Media. In December, it agreed to buy WNOV-AM 860 in Milwaukee and the Milwaukee Courier newspaper. In March, the company, led by CEO Sage Weil, formally took ownership of WZTI-AM 1290 in Greenfield, WI, and two FM translators from the Milwaukee Radio Alliance for $465,000.
