If you have the drive to prospect, pitch, and dominate the Upstate market using a powerhouse combination of iconic sports radio and high-impact digital solutions, your next major move starts now.
Why This Role Rocks You won’t just sell standard ad space—you’ll architect high-yield, multi-channel marketing engines. You get the reach of Clemson Athletics, the frequency of live and local sports radio coupled with a full suite of in-house digital capabilities (AI Search, Geo-fencing, OTT/CTV, SEO, Behavioral Targeting, and Display).
What You’ll Do
• Drive Regional Revenue: Hunt down new business, build a robust pipeline, and consistently shatter quarterly sales targets.
• Pitch the Power Combo: Seamlessly blend elite sports broadcast inventory with targeted digital campaigns to create irresistible client solutions.
• Consult & Close: Lead deep discovery meetings, leverage data-driven insights, and present compelling, custom proposals.
• Track & Optimize: Monitor campaign delivery, walk clients through performance recaps, and leverage real-time ROI metrics to drive upsells.
• Build Winning Relationships: Form long-term partnerships with business owners, agencies, station talent, and your internal ad ops team.
What You Bring
• Proven Sales Drive: Demonstrated success in broadcast, digital marketing, or multi-platform regional ad sales.
• Digital Fluency: Practical knowledge of how digital ad strategies drive real-world business results.
• Sharp Execution: Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-Starter Mindset: Independent problem-solving ability with a track record of exceeding goals.
• Tech & Background: Proficient in Microsoft Office; bachelor’s degree preferred.
