Country Radio Broadcasters has named BMG Americas President of Frontline Recordings Jon Loba as the recipient of the 2025 CRB President’s Award, recognizing his long-standing contributions to the Country Radio Seminar and to the advancement of the country format.
Loba’s influence spans more than 20 years in country music, helping to shape the careers of artists including Jason Aldean, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, Dustin Lynch, and Parmalee. He joins a distinguished group of past CRB President’s Award honorees, including John Esposito, Beverlee Brannigan, Sarah Trahern, Mike Dungan, Charlie Morgan, Bob Kingsley, Joe Galante, and Erica Farber.
The honor will be formally presented on July 21 during the Country Radio Hall of Fame event at the Virgin Hotel Nashville, where Big D & Bubba, Mary McCoy, Rowdy Yates, Ginny “Rogers” Brophey, Clay Hunnicutt, and Gregg Swedberg will also be recognized.
Country Radio Broadcasters/CRS Board President Kurt Johnson said, “Jon Loba doesn’t just play the game—he redefines it. He’s backed legends, bet on new voices, and pushed Country forward at every turn. His impact on CRS is undeniable, and now, with a broader platform at BMG, he’s reminding the industry why Music Row sets the standard. This award isn’t just deserved. It’s overdue.”
