The latest data from Media Monitors for the week of February 19-25 again shows Progressive Insurance as the week’s top dog in the realm of national radio advertisers, with a steady play count of 61,317. The list also teases a coming hiring boom.

Vicks follows in a distant second, with its commercials airing 47,965 times. The healthcare brand’s messages resonate with audiences, especially during the winter season, which typically sees a spike in cold and flu cases. Language learning app Babbel secures the third position, with a play count of 47,702.

Fast-food chain Wendy’s takes fourth place with 37,331 plays, and rounding out the top five is ZipRecruiter which aired 37,326 spots. The online recruiter has raised its radio spending with the end of Q1 coming into view, anticipating how many first-of-the-year hiring freezes will soon be over.
