Radio Raises Generosity Past 2021 In The Season Of Giving Tally

From frosty showers to tons of St. Jude Radiothons, it was a holly, jolly Christmas for communities across America, all thanks to radio. Radio Ink‘s Season of Giving Tally rose in the holiday week to $24.72 million, beating 2021’s $23.7 million after a year off.

Stations pitched in $5.92 million this past week, with married morning duo Nick and Kristen from Audacy Portland’s 99.5 The Wolf taking the Tally over the top. Their annual Medical Debt Payoff collected $2.5 million to erase the medical debt of neighbors in the Pacific Northwest. It’s also the largest amount raised by a single station this year.

With a few days left to go before the December 31st deadline, why stop at 2021’s total? There’s still time to match 2020’s $28.5 million, or with another golden week, break 2019’s lofty all-time record of $31.2 million. Make sure your total is added to the list and makes Radio Ink!
