UTA has announced the acquisition of JamPot, the UK-based podcast network established by Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing. UTA aims to leverage its global reach to advance JamPot’s growth both in the UK and across the Atlantic.
As reported by Deadline, in addition to UTA’s worldwide representation, JamPot will maintain its strategic commercial partnership with YMU, which represents both Laing and his wife Sophie Habboo exclusively.
JamPot is notable for its podcasts NewlyWeds, Wednesdays, and NewlyDads. Laing, who also co-hosts the hit podcasts Private Parts and 6 Degrees on BBC Sounds, is also an entrepreneur, co-founding Candy Kittens, a successful British confectionery brand.
The news comes as Laing and Habboo prepare for a 2024 live podcast tour of NewlyWeds across the UK and Ireland.
