After a quarter-century stint on Milwaukee’s airwaves, Good Karma Brands radio host Jeff Wagner has announced his retirement from WTMJ-AM. Wagner, a former assistant US Attorney, began as a part-time host in 1998 before taking on a full-time role later that year.
GKB Milwaukee Market Manager Greg Scalzo said, “Jeff is a broadcasting legend. His retirement marks the end of an era, and we celebrate the legacy he leaves behind.”
Wagner himself expressed gratitude, saying, “No show runs forever, and it has been an honor and a pleasure to host a daily radio talk show in my hometown for a quarter century. I am extremely grateful to Good Karma Brands, my teammates (past and present), our partners, and most importantly, our fans for all their support over the years.”
He also added, “While I’m excited to see what comes next, I will truly miss the daily interaction with listeners about the issues of the day.”
His final show is scheduled for December 15th.
