Cumulus Media Kansas City has shifted its CHR 95.7 The Vibe (KMJK) to a new frequency, 107.3. The move coincides with the dropping of syndicated morning and night programming during the week in favor of local personalities.

Tyler Frye, Cassiday, Jagger, and Dallace Jade will now be handling the station’s weekdays. Certain syndicated weekend programs like Weekends with Roula, Carson Daly Download, and DJ Kirby Dance Party will continue on the new frequency. The Vibe also took the opportunity to launch a new station website.

Cumulus Kansas City’s Regional Vice President and Market Manager, Donna Baker, emphasized that aligning these popular station brands aims to maximize audience reach throughout the Kansas City community. The goal is to provide even more value to both listeners and advertising partners.

Cumulus Kansas City Market Manager Donna Baker stated, “Adjusting the alignment of these beloved station brands delivers the highest potential audience to reach the entire KC community. The right stations, the right formats, on the right signals with the best local personalities creates even more value for our listeners and advertising partners.”

The Vibe Program Director Jagger said, “Excited to move The Vibe to our new home at 107.3 and to help take it to a new level with our great local team! We will continue to be THE hit music station, playing 10 Songs In A Row every hour with the biggest hits, biggest contests, and the most winners!”
