Anderssen joined Audacy in May 2022. Prior to this, he accumulated 24 years of experience with Cox Media Group in various formats and locations, most recently as the national News/Talk and Sports Format Leader and Brand Manager for 95.5 WSB in Atlanta. He has also functioned as Operations Manager in Orlando for multiple stations.

Throughout his career, he has earned Marconis, Service to America, and Crystals from the National Association of Broadcasters, as well as the National Edward R. Murrow Award from the RTDNA.

Audacy Executive Vice President and Head of Programming Jeff Sottolano said, “Drew is an experienced leader with bold ideas for the future of the News/Talk format. With his proven expertise, we are confident that Drew will lead the way in shaping our brand and format strategy, delivering exceptional content and driving continued success for our local brands and our digital platforms.”

“I’m so thankful for the incredible opportunity to be a greater part of the best spoken word portfolio of brands in America. Thank you, David Field, Susan Larkin, Jeff Sottolano, Dave Richards, Brian Purdy and the entire Audacy Leadership team,” commented Anderssen.
