LiveRead.io has rolled out a new ad-tech platform aimed at simplifying podcast advertising for creators, brands, and agencies. The platform integrates media planning, ad copy automation, and financial tracking into a single database.
A test case with a mid-sized podcast network showed that LiveRead cut time spent on accounts payable and receivable by 88% and flagged errors that would have amounted to 1.67% of annual revenue. Early adopters of LiveRead include The Always Sunny Podcast, Good for You, and The Basement Yard.
Andrew Santino, host of Bad Friends, explained how LiveRead has streamlined the financial aspects of podcasting, ensuring prompt payments. Similarly, Whitney Cummings, host of Good for You, highlighted the platform’s ability to provide a holistic view of all contracts and financials.
LiveRead.io’s CEO Alex Aldea revealed that the concept for the platform originated from a conversation about the lack of transparency in the podcast advertising space. “We wanted to make sure that our interests are always aligned with the customers we created LiveRead to serve. Also, why give away something you believe in,” Aldea added.
