Jamie Tanchyk has been promoted to Brand Manager for 105.1 The Buzz (KRSK) at Audacy Portland. In his new role, Tanchyk will be responsible for overseeing the station’s content strategy, talent, operations, and branding.
Tanchyk joined KRSK in 2020 as the afternoon host, Assistant Program Director, and Music Director. Prior to this, he worked as the afternoon host and Assistant Program Director for Audacy’s Hot 103.7 in Seattle starting in 2013. His career in radio began in 2006 in Albany, NY.
“For the last three years, Jamie has been a dedicated, committed leader for this station and is the perfect candidate to usher in the next chapter of KRSK,” said Audacy Portland Market Manager Kim Martinez. “We’re excited to elevate him to Brand Manager and watch him continue to grow The Buzz into a local favorite for the people of Portland.”
