Audacy Phoenix’s BIG 94.5 (KOOL-FM) has a new morning man. The company announced that J.D. has launched J.D. in the Morning! on weekdays starting Monday, June 5.
J.D., known off-air as JD Whitfield, is making the move after eight years in Boston hosting nights on Audacy’s former 103.3 AMP Radio. Prior to that, he began his radio career in Arizona, where he worked nights at KZON in Phoenix from 2010 to 2012. In 2013, he the station’s joined The Lady La Morning Show as a co-host.
“We’re excited to welcome J.D. to set the tone for our weekday programming on BIG 94.5,” said Audacy Phoenix Market Manager Dave Pugh. “J.D. is no stranger to this market, and we’re confident he’ll give our listeners a fresh, exciting way to start their mornings.”
