Colorado Public Radio has moved its news service and reporting team to downtown Denver. The 9,000-square-foot newsroom and studios will house more than 50 reporters and producers, including the Denverite staff and the production of the statewide daily news program Colorado Matters.
“Together with Denverite, we are now the largest Colorado-owned daily news organization headquartered within blocks of the seats of power,” said President and CEO Stewart Vanderwilt. “By establishing our newsroom in close proximity to the Capitol, we can increase the delivery of meaningful news for all of Colorado.”
The organization will continue to operate its primary business, including both CPR Classical and Indie 102.3, from Bridges Broadcast Center in Centennial.
