Entercom CEO David Field says he expects that to pick up as we get closer to the general election, which is no different than how it comes in during every political cycle. CFO Steve Fisher reported that Entercom took in $800,000 in political revenue during the first quarter, compared to $100,000 a year ago. Wells Fargo analyst Marci Ryvicker, in her Entercom report to investors, says she expects Entercom to pull in between $7 million and $8 million in political revenue by the end of the year.

  1. If they used radio – and had some boffo copy and production – they could buy an election fer even cheeper, eh?

  2. While the radio industry certainly appreciates the boost in sales, does this not prove that you can buy an election in the United States?
