Today the ten day Talent Radio Institute will begin at Central Washington University. Hubbard CEO Ginny Morris says, “Compelling and relatable on-air talent is what separates local radio from all other audio entertainment services. Our investment in the National Radio Talent System at Central Washington University is an extension of Hubbard Radio’s commitment to do our part to nurture and grow the talent pipeline for the industry. This is the second year Hubbard has put its company name on the Talent Institute.

Ten days from now, Drew Horowitz, President of Hubbard Radio, closes the Institute with the “Now is the Time to Start Thinking like a Pro” session. Students from various universities in the state and region accepted into the Institute will meet and learn from radio pros from Hubbard, Bonneville, Alpha Media, Entercom, Townsquare Media, and others, including Steve Raible, Play-by-play announcer of the Seattle Seahawks. And the students will be the live studio audience for the Mornings with Alan and Ashley show from WARM 106.9 in Seattle, broadcasting live on campus at the Institute.
