Crowley Out Before Trump Administration Begins

Conservative talker Monica Crowley was to be part of President-elect Donald Trump’s national security communications team. That all ended Monday when Crowley said she would not serve after she was accused of plagiarism by CNN and Politico. Crowley issued the following statement…

“After much reflection I have decided to remain in New York to pursue other opportunities and will not be taking a position in the incoming administration. I greatly appreciate being asked to be part of President-elect Trump’s team and I will continue to enthusiastically support him and his agenda for American renewal.”

CNN reported that Crowley’s book, “What the (Bleep) Just Happened?”, included information from columnists, news reports, articles, and think tanks without proper attribution. Politico reported that Crowley’s 2000 dissertation contained more than 12 sections of text that were used without proper attribution.
