Robert Wallace has been named the new GSM for Curtis Media Group's WKIX 102.9 FM, KIX 1029, and WPTK 850 AM/104.7 FM in Raleigh. Wallace brings more than 20 years of Raleigh radio experience to the post, most recently serving as GSM for WRAL-FM in Raleigh. He starts in his new roles on February 15.

Mark Justice (pictured left) was in radio since high school. He joined WLGC in Ashland Kentucky in 1984 and started The Breakfast Club on September 5, 1985. On Wednesday, Justice suffered a massive heart attack while in the hospital being treated for a heart attack he suffered a few weeks ago. Justice had recently complained of heartburn and burning in his throat.

Mike West will be the new on-air personality who will join Kris Daniels on KCYE 102.7, Las Vegas. Mornings with Kris and Mike will launch on Monday, February 15 and air from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m., Monday through Friday.

Fagan will host the new ESPN Radio show, Will & Kate, with ESPN contributor Will Cain, which launches Sunday and airs every Sunday from 7 – 10 a.m. ET.

Legendary broadcaster Charles Osgood will be honored with the Dick Clark Lifetime Achievement Award at the Broadcasters Foundation of America’s Golden Mike Award dinner on Monday, February 29 at the Plaza Hotel in New York City.

Sun Broadcast Group says with the addition of eight new iHeartMedia stations, The Country Club with Dee Jay Silver is now broadcasting his Country music dance party on more than 60 stations.

The Ohio River Network, a regional journalism collaboration led by Louisville Public Media, has hired veteran journalist Jeff Young as its managing editor. Young will lead hiring efforts to establish the new, three-state newsroom, which includes seven public media stations in Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia.

Salem Media Group, announced Monday that Bill Bennett will step back from the microphone in hosting Bill Bennett's Morning in America program starting Monday, April 4. Bennett will maintain his presence in the morning by shifting to Senior Correspondent, producing a daily Making America Work series.

Alan Furst is the new program director at Entercom's News 98.1fm KMBZ and KMBZ-AM (Talk 980); he'll be taking the reins on Monday, February 15.

Beasley Media Group has appointed Steve Griesbach as Director of Engineering for its Las Vegas cluster. Griesbach is a Wisconsin native, who brings nearly three decades of radio engineering experience to Beasley’s five Las Vegas stations.
