Nancy Stevens is promoted to PD for Hubbard Radio's Alternative KDKB (AZ 93-3) in Phoenix, effective immediately. She's been working with the programming and sales teams on radio festivals and NTR programs.

In January CBS Cleveland (92.3 The Fan) host Kevin Kiley got himself in hot water for saying there's "no place for a woman in professional sports, in football, coaching men," after the Buffalo Bills hired Kathryn Smith as an assistant coach. Kiley is now saying he's quitting - at the end of the month - because CBS Radio sent him a letter threatening his job if he didn't tone down his rhetoric.

Argow started at Grey Advertising in the mail room in the 1950s. He moved into media planning/buying soon after. Noticing that salespeople were making more money than planners and buyers, he decided to give sales a shot. He started at a small rep firm in NYC and excelled. He then went to work for McGavern Guild when Ralph Guild hired him away from a smaller rep firm in New York.

Cumulus hires 25-year vet Jason Kidd for the afternoon slot at Washington, D.C.’s MIX 107.3/WRQX-FM. Kidd comes to MIX from New Generation Radio in Washington, D.C., where he has been President and Advisor/Brand Developer.

The legendary Jerry Lee station in Philadelphia has hired Kerry Mulvey for the newly created position of Director of Sales. Mulvey has over 30 years of media experience, most recently as Director of Integrated Marketing at CBS Radio in Philadelphia.

97.5 PODER FM is bringing the Hispanic radio morning host back to the 3rd largest market in the country. GM Alfredo Lopez said: “We at PODER 97.5 FM are honored to be working with a pristine representative of the radio industry. He has always been a top-notch radio talent who dignifies and embodies our Hispanic culture."

Red Zebra Broadcasting announced Thursday that it has hired Chris Johnson as Program Director for ESPN 980. Johnson will start his position on Monday, Feb. 15. Johnson brings nearly three decades of broadcast experience to ESPN 980.

Mark Levin will continue his talk show with Westwood One through 2025. Levin said, “I could not be more pleased to extend my radio partnership with Cumulus/Westwood One -- for the next nine years -- an unprecedented long-term relationship in the broadcasting industry."

Sean Baligian, Tom Mazawey, and Marc Fellhauer will move from their noon to 3 p.m. slot to mornings on the Greater Media Detroit sports station, replacing ESPN's Mike & Mike. The new lineup on the station following mornings is: 10 a.m.-2p.m. Ryan & Rico and 2 p.m.-6 p.m. Matt Dery & Drew Sharp.

PowerTalk 96.7 and AM 1400 (KALZ-FM and KRZR-AM) has named Trevor Carey new afternoon drive host. Carey will host an expanded fourth hour that will also air on iHeartMedia's PowerTalk stations in Modesto and Stockton from 6-7 p.m. PT. Carey had previously been hosting a one-hour evening program on PowerTalk since December 2015.
