The Board of Directors of Saga Communications has promoted Warren Lada to COO. Lada was Executive Vice President with the company. Saga CEO Ed Christian said, “Warren has been with Saga for over two decades in various capacities, starting as a market manager and now currently as Executive Vice President. We have worked side by side in growing Saga into a well-respected company in the broadcast industry. His promotion to COO is long overdue.”

News Director Drops Restraining Order Against Assistant
KSFR is a Public Radio station in Santa Fe. News director Zelie Pollon (pictured) has withdrawn her request for a restraining order against the station's former assistant news director, Tom Trowbridge. According to The Santa Fe New Mexican, on February 18 Pollon claimed Trowbridge threatened her life.

Radio One announced Radio Group President Chris Wegmann (pictured) is retiring and Deon Levingston is joining the company in a regional position. Wegmann's retirement date is April 1, 2016. Levingston returns as the GM in Indianapolis and Regional Vice President of Detroit and St. Louis.
Cerulli Joins Entercom San Diego Sales Team
Karyn Cerulli is the new Director of Sales for Entercom's KSON, KBZT, and KIFM in San Diego. She'll partner with Director of Sales Pat Osburn and the Entercom San Diego sales management team. Cerulli comes to ETM San Diego from Cox, where she's been D.O.S. for the past two and a half years.

Charlie Tuna Dead At 71
The awards were endless for Charlie Tuna who died peacefully in his sleep February 19, according to his close friend Steve Wall at The Talent Farm. Tuna left Kearth 101 in Los Angeles back in August of 2015 to focus on his syndication company. He worked as morning drive radio personality for more stations and formats than anyone in Los Angeles radio history.
