Jennifer Turec LaMontagne will be responsible for the development of new corporate and national business for the company and report to VP of National Sales Josh Rahmani. LaMontagne has worked for CBS, Katz, Interep, Inner City, and most recently, Emmis.

The nonprofit advocacy group for musicians announced that CEO Casey Rae (pictured) will step down on June 6 and Board President Dick Huey will take over as interim CEO.

WAY-FM’s The Wally Show held a campaign where listeners pledged support to Blood: Water Mission for 27 new water wells to be built near schools in Africa. The funding will also provide sanitation (bathrooms) to help ensure the children stay healthier throughout the year.

Sean “Mac” McNally picks up the evening shift at Country outlet WIVK in Knoxville. McNally was most recently morning show host and Program Director for Brewer Broadcasting’s WPLZ (Cat Country) in Chattanooga, prior to the station’s format flip to Classic Hits late last year.

Coast to Coast AM host George Noory will present a live stage version of his overnight program at Lindenwood University in St. Louis, June 18 at 7:00 p.m.

The New York Daily News reports Benjamin Sparks pleaded guilty Monday to harassing Gregg (Opie) Hughes (pictured). He must complete four days of community service and must stay away from Hughes, who says Sparks had been harassing him and his family for nine years. Opie and Anthony are no longer together after Anthony Cumia was let go by SiriusXM after he tweeted out racist comments.

The Sports Buffet is hosted by the voice of the University of Texas sports, Craig Way, and UT Football and NFL veteran Rod Babers. iHeartMedia is expanding the show with the addition of a studio in San Antonio and adding a simulcast of the show on The Ticket 760 in that market.

ABC Radio VP and GM Steve Jones makes the announcement that Goldberg has been named the midday Information Network anchor for ABC News Radio, filling the role previously held by Cheri Preston. Preston took over the morning drive anchor duties for the ABC News Radio Information Network. Goldberg will anchor national newscasts during middays each weekday.

Austin is moved up to the newly created position of Corporate Director of Programming for Delmarva Broadcasting. He'll now be responsible for everything that goes out over the air on all none of the company's radio stations. He'll also keep his job as Operations Manager for WXCY-FM in Wilmington, DE.

NewsRadio 560 WHYN in Paxton, MA, announced the addition of The Jim Polito Show to its weekday lineup, beginning today. The show will air weekday mornings from 6 – 9:00 a.m.
