Cumulus Detroit Promotes Bridges

2

Robby Bridges is now the Director of FM Programming for Cumulus’ Detroit cluster, which includes Hot AC WDVD, Country WDRQ (NASH FM 93.1), and Classic Country (NASH ICON 93.1 HD2). He will also continue to anchor PM drive on WDVD.

Bridges came to Detroit in early 2014 to launch WDRQ’s NASH Country format as PD. Prior to that, he programmed Cumulus stations WEBE and WFAS, and was Assistant Program Director for WPLJ. He also programmed for the company’s Westwood One division. Bridges previously served in various programming and on-air positions in New York, Boston, Providence, and Philadelphia.

  1. These outfits – Cumulus being only one of them – continue to attempt to pull the wool over everybody’s eyes by applying threadbare, tattered rags that would make a Kleenex tissue look like a Hudson’s Bay blanket.

  2. SO, Cumulus believes that a cluster “Director pf Programming” in Detroit, should also still be an Afternoon DJ? Dude, tell them if you’re such a talented programming mind, then why is half your day spent, on the air, reading liners?
