Weinstein (@RealBramW) returns to the nation’s capital after anchoring at ESPN since 2008, including as a SportsCenter host from 2010 to 2015.

After a 12-hour radiothon, the station really could shout “hallelujah!” with the final count raised for the Sickle Cell Foundation tallying $10,600. The radiothon was hosted by popular personalities Connie Bryant and Yvette Bullard-Dillard. This was the 28th year for the annual fundraiser.

98.5 KLUC (Las Vegas) has a jock to really boast about. Morning show host Chet Buchanan has received “The Best of the Silver State XIV” Humanitarian Award. Buchanan spends countless hours with dozens of charities throughout Southern Nevada, and also sits on the board of numerous nonprofits. The Silver State XIV awards will be presented on July 23rd.

Craig Stevens (pictured) has been named Format Captain for Spoken Word stations, and Jimmy Steele will replace Stevens as Program Director for Y102 and Rumba 92.3 FM, as well as join the Y102 Morning Show as a co-host, effective immediately, according to iHeartMedia’s Allentown-Harrisburg region.

After six months away from the show, doing her own Podcast, she’s back. Kristi Lee rejoins the team of Westwood One’s Bob & Tom Show as of today. Lee said, "I am thrilled to be back on the Bob & Tom Show...even though I fully expect to be interrupted by the boys on a regular basis…again.”

You can’t keep a good Ram down. Colorado State University is welcoming back Brian Roth who will reclaim the play-by-play role for CSU’s football and men’s basketball broadcasts, and serve as host of the Rams’ coaches’ shows.

Larson tells Radio Ink that Compass Media Networks has extended his agreement for syndication of The Lars Larson Show through 2023.

Content provider Mr. Master has appointed Maria Musaitef as Marketing Director. It's a newly created position at the company. Musaitef joins Mr. Master from Envisage Radio Group, where she helped launch the company as Director, Affiliate Sales and Marketing, and brought in 90 affiliates for Sammy Hagar's Top Rock Countdown in the show's first year.

Q Country morning host, Chris Allinger won’t give up the kids. After doing his final “Walkin’ the Country” for the Food Bank of the Southern Tier’s Backpack Program, he said that was it. Well, that was it for that particular event. But now Allinger is back with “2 Steps To Fight Hunger.”

It was this week in 1996 that a new weekend program debuted for Rock Stations. hardDrive is celebrating its 20th anniversary on the air. The show’s original host and executive producer, Lou Brutus (pictured) and Roxy Myzal are still intact on the production team.
