MetroNews.com is reporting the passing of the veteran West Virginia broadcaster this week. Shahan died Thursday evening at the Hospice Unit of Thomas Memorial Hospital. He had battled esophageal cancer for nearly a year. He was 55.

Dawn Campbell is the new Director of Branding and Programming for STAR 94.5’s Today’s R&B and Throwbacks WCFB-FM. Campbell just celebrated her 5th anniversary with CMG Orlando Radio as Music Director for WCFB-FM and WPYO-FM, and Promotions Manager for WCFB-FM.

Terry Foster, half of the Foster and Valenti afternoon show, on The Ticket in Detroit filled his listeners in on the station website and Twitter. "I suffered a mild stroke and am going to be fine."

Danny Montana will take over the midday slot at the St. Louis country station where he's been since 1995. He's worked as the overnight DJ, then daytime on-air talent and host, as well as Music Director. In 2003, he was named WIL APD.

Eric Lauer is the new GSM for the Scripps-owned country outlet in Milwaukee. Lauer, a Milwaukee native, heads to Milwaukee from his current position as GSM for Cox Media in Jacksonville. In addition to leading sales at KTI, Lauer will serve as National Sales Manager for Scripps Radio, Milwaukee.

Tom Sheridan has been hired to sell for the iHeartMedia Milwaukee cluster. Sheridan previously worked as a GSM and D.O.S. for EW Scripps, where he served for over 25 years.
