Riley Couture has been named the new co-host for The Kane Show on HOT 99.5, Washington, DC. Couture previously worked at WRVW in Nashville as co-host on The Woody & Jim Show. She's also worked at WWPW in Atlanta, WSNX in Grand Rapids and WHBQ in Memphis.

The Broadcasters Foundation of America revealed that three big-name broadcasters will help honor this year’s Golden Mike Award recipient, Meredith Corp. President Paul Karpowicz. NAB CEO Gordon Smith, BMI CEO Mike O'Neill, and TVB President Steve Lanzano will be part of the presentation. The February 27 event at the Plaza Hotel in New York City is a major fundraiser for the Foundation.

Appropriately called The Hot Stove, the one-hour show will run for four Wednesdays, seeing off winter and previewing the Phillies baseball season. The show will air on SportsRadio 94WIP, beginning Wednesday, February 1, 6-7 p.m., and will be hosted by Scott Franzke and Larry Andersen.

Two years after leaving Westwood One to work at a chemical solutions company, Brian Switzer is back with Westwood One. Switzer joins the company as VP/GM for Music & Entertainment -- Country, overseeing the marketing and operations of all owned and represented Country shows.

101.3 The Brew – “The Brew Rocks Grand Rapids” – has picked up the popular Rover’s Morning Glory show, 6-10 a.m. effective January 23. The show will continue to broadcast from its flagship station, WMMS in Cleveland.

Cassiday Proctor will join the Spencer’s Neighborhood morning show on 106.5 The Arch on January 30. Proctor joins the show from WSTR-FM Atlanta’s morning show. She was also an on-air personality at CBS Radio in Charlotte, North Carolina and for Entercom in Austin.

James Conner, the longtime GM of Emmis' Terre Haute cluster, has been named General Manager of Network Indiana. Network Indiana is a statewide news network providing news, sports, and business programming to affiliated radio stations in the state. It's owned by Emmis, which sold its five stations in Terre Haute back in October for $5.2 million.

iHeartMedia's News Radio 1190 KEX in Portland has launched the Mark Mason Show in the noon to 3 p.m. slot. Mason, who returns after a three-year hiatus, said, "After I lost my good friend and co-host Dave Anderson, my perspective on life changed and I wanted to return the Portland community that embraced me. I’m excited to return to the KEX family and bring my 100% hate-free brand of talk radio back to Portland.”

Cox Media Group Atlanta’s 97.1 The River (WSRV-FM) is moving Debra Green from weekends to weeknights. Green has been with 97.1 The River since June of 2015. Prior to that, she was on air at X107-1 and WNNX. The format is Classic Hits. Green is taking the shift that English Nick moved out of in the Fall to do middays

Adam Bomb that is, who will take afternoon's on Cumulus' WWWQ-FM. Adam has hosted nights on Q100 since 2006. He'll continue to host his nationally syndicated show, through Westwood One, now heard in 30 markets.
