CHRISTOPHER SMITH NAMED MERCURY CHIEF JUDGE

Smith is the Brand Creative Group Head at The Richards Group. He's been named the the 2016 Chief Judge for the Radio Mercury Awards. Smith has written for clients including Motel 6, The Home Depot, Zales, Amstel Light, Red Lobster, H-E-B, QuikTrip, Central Market, and others.

Bob Levy (pictured), morning host for News Talk Radio WOBM-AM, will step down from the Bob & Marianne in the Morning show after 18 years. Levy has been with WOBM since its inception in 1968. Levy will remain host of Topic A on WOBM-AM and FM, a show he's hosted for 36 years every Sunday.

Stadler will join News Radio 106.7/WYAY-FM as Executive Producer and host ofThe Morning News. Stadler was the voice for morning news and information on Star 94 (WSTR-FM) in Atlanta for nearly three decades.

For over 30 years, Bob Davis has been the play-by-play voice of Kansas Jayhawk football and men's basketball. He'll be retiring at the end of the basketball season, making Saturday's game against Kansas State his final football broadcast.

Cox Media Group in Tampa has named John Kage Director of Branding for Hot 101.5 FM WPOI. Additionally, the Director of Branding and Programming for 97X WSUN FM will report to Kage. Before joining CMG Tampa, Kage was PD and Digital Content Director for Entercom's KQKS/ KS1075 in Denver.

In 2016, Big D and Bubba’s Silverfish Media will launch Carsen (Jessica Humphreville) as mid-day host of "Country with Carsen" (10am-3pm ET weekdays). Carsen will broadcast from the Silverfish Media studios in Nashville. She will also contribute to the Big D and Bubba morning show.
