Julio Liberman's radio career began in the 1960s, when he and his brothers purchased KLVE in Los Angeles and flipped the format to become the first Spanish-language FM in the city, and the second in the United States. In 2013, Mr. Liberman received Radio Ink’s Lifetime Leadership Award, the highest honor of the Medallas de Cortez Awards. Julio Liberman is the father of Entravision's COO Jeff Liberman. He was 87.

News director Zelie Pollon (pictured) has withdrawn her request for a restraining order against the station's former assistant news director, Tom Trowbridge. According to The Santa Fe New Mexican, on February 18 Pollon claimed Trowbridge threatened her life.
