New Lineup For The Score In Chicago

With the retirement of longtime host Terry Boers, CBS Radio Chicago’s 670-AM The Score is launching a new lineup Tuesday, January 17. Midday host Jason Goff (right) will move to afternoons, joining Dan Bernstein, and teaming up with midday host Matt Spiegel will be Danny Parkins.

Bennett Ends Weekly Interview Show

Salem has announced the end of The Bill Bennett Interview which aired mornings on the Salem Radio Network, and about 60 affiliates on the weekend. Salem will be offering affiliates replacement hours of either Hugh Hewitt or another "best of" weekend program.

Schenek Takes Over Digital For Scripps Milwaukee

Scripps-owned WTMJ-AM and KTI-FM in Milwaukee has hired Dan Schenek as Digital Content Director. Schenek joins Scripps from Los Angeles where he was Digital Producer for NBCUniversal’s Access Hollywood. Schenek has also worked with CNN/HLN’s Dr. Drew show and with MTV/New York and CBS Radio/Los Angeles.

During his show, Arum asked listeners to help Gwinnett and Forsyth County firefighters who were targeted over the weekend by thieves who struck while they were out on calls.

The Billy Madison Show team is celebrating its fifth anniversary and they threw a Texas-sized bash in their hometown of San Antonio to celebrate. KISS-FM held a sold-out 5th Anniversary Celebration show at San Antonio’s Aztec Theater. In addition, the station worked closely with their newest affiliate, KCLB-FM, Palm Springs, for a promotion that landed a couple of lucky Cali listeners in San Antonio for the anniversary show.

Jim Bohannon has signed another multi-year deal with Westwood One, which will keep him hosting The Jim Bohannon Show, which is now in its 33rd year. The program airs on more than 250 stations. As part of his renewal, Westwood is launching a new Jim Bohannon podcast and Best of Bohannon program.

Parker Takes Afternoons At WLS-FM Chicago

Before moving to Chicago, Ron Parker was on the air at NASH-FM and also worked at WCBS-FM in New York City. Parker has also held on-air and programming positions in San Francisco, Houston, Dallas, Phoenix, and Tallahassee. He started his afternoon drive run on Classic Hits WLS on Tuesday, replacing Robert Murphy.
