Cumulus has named Brian Joyce Afternoon Host (3-6 p.m.) on NewsRadio 106.7/WYAY-FM in Atlanta. He'll turn his thoughts to Atlanta immediately following his midday show (1-3 p.m.) on Cumulus' Talk Radio 102.3/WGOW-FM in Chattanooga.

Sean Strife will begin programming the Cedar Rapids Hit Music station immediately. Strife has worked as the producer for KIIS FM’s On Air With Ryan Seacrest in L.A., he's produced the Jesse Lozano in the Morning show and was an on-air personality for iHeartMedia Los Angeles’ Sports Talker AM 570 LA Sports.

Sexton Replaces McCain on America Now

Premiere announced on Wednesday that former CIA officer turned radio and TV personality Buck Sexton will start hosting America Now starting Monday. The show is heard from 6 - 9 p.m. ET on more than 100 affiliates. Sexton replaces Meghan McCain, who is leaving Premiere to focus on her expanded role at Fox News.

Monk To Michigan For Cumulus

Chris Monk is the new Regional VP for Cumulus' nine radio stations in Saginaw and Flint. He'll also take over as Market Manager for the Saginaw cluster. It's a newly created position; Saginaw had been without a Market Manager. Ed Leick remains Market Manager in Flint.

Williams Returning To Windy City Weekday Afternoons

John Williams will return to Chicago’s WGN Radio as a weekday host from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and will remain in the Saturday lineup from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The show launches March 13.

KINK’s Sheila Hamilton Wins Life Award

On Friday CBS Radio announced that Todd Cavanah will add US99 (WUSN) in Chicago to his list of responsibilities. Cavanah is VP of Programming for CBS Radio Chicago and was already overseeing the four music stations CBS owns in that city.

WABC And Batchelor Ink A New Deal.

Talk radio host John Batchelor has signed a multi-year contract renewal with WABC Radio in New York City. The deal will take the 9 a.m.-1 p.m. host over the 15-year mark at the station. Batchelor is pictured here with Market Manager Chad Lopez, who calls the host "a New York institution."

KYKY Says “He’s Our Guy”

Popular host Guy Phillips has signed a multi-year contract extension with the St. Louis station that will keep the The Phillips & Company Morning Show (weekdays, 5.30-10 a.m.) at 98.1 KYKY-FM. The veteran broadcaster was elected to the St. Louis Radio Hall of Fame in 2006.
