Jackson was named the new Operations Manager for Top 40 KZIA and Sports Talk KGYM. He'll also program KZIA. Jackson worked the night shift at KZIA from 2004 to 2011. He was also APD/MD at CBS Radio Alternative KXTE in Las Vegas and Hot AC KHMX in Houston.

Peake Takes Over KOST and MYFM in L.A.

Late last night iHeartMedia announced that John Peake is the new Program Director for AC station KOST 103.5 and Hot AC/Adult Top 40 station 104.3 MYfm in Los Angeles, replacing Michael La Crosse who will transition into an advisory role in iHeart's West Division.

WLW Legal Analyst Pleads Not Guilty

WHIO reports Cincinnati defense lawyer and radio legal analyst Lisa Wells pleaded not guilty Tuesday to felony drug charges. In January 2016 Wells was stopped on Interstate 75. During a search police say they found pills on the front seat and in her purse.

Programming Changes at 101WKQX Chicago

On Tuesday Cumulus announced a few changes at the Alternative Rocker in Chicago. The first is the addition of Christine “Nicci” Nunez (pictured) who takes over as Executive Producer for “Brian & Lou in the Morning,” joining WKQX from Cox's WHPT-FM in Tampa where she produced “Drew Garabo Live.”

Riley Couture has been named the new co-host for The Kane Show on HOT 99.5, Washington, DC. Couture previously worked at WRVW in Nashville as co-host on The Woody & Jim Show. She's also worked at WWPW in Atlanta, WSNX in Grand Rapids and WHBQ in Memphis.

Three Execs Sign On To Honor Karpowicz

The Broadcasters Foundation of America revealed that three big-name broadcasters will help honor this year’s Golden Mike Award recipient, Meredith Corp. President Paul Karpowicz. NAB CEO Gordon Smith, BMI CEO Mike O'Neill, and TVB President Steve Lanzano will be part of the presentation. The February 27 event at the Plaza Hotel in New York City is a major fundraiser for the Foundation.
