The former radio man spent the past three years as CURE International’s VP of Marketing. Prior to that his radio career included working for K-LOVE in Chicago, WAY-FM in West Palm Beach, Air1 in Sacramento and Salem in Chicago. He says his new company will focus on working with radio stations and non-profit's to develop and implement custom strategies to better communicate their purpose.
Ramsey Takes Charge in Atlanta, San Antonio
Syndicated talk superstar Dave Ramsey, traveled to Atlanta and San Antonio recently for events for his Smart Money presentation. In Atlanta he worked with iHeartMedia's talker WGST-AM. And in San Antonio, where this packed house picture is from, Ramsey worked with KTSA-AM, an Alpha Media station.
Will Mike & The Mad Dog Reunite
Mike Francesa, who's leaving WFAN in New York when his contract expires at the end of 2017, says it's possible. The Daily News is reporting that Francessa said he's open to the idea.
Gersten Upped At WWLI In Providence
Heather Gersten has been promoted to Assistant Program Director at the Lite Rock station. Gersten will continue as co-host of Heather & Steve in the mornings, a position she has held for the past 14 years. She is also part of WWLI’s 2 Lite Chicks with midday personality Amy Pontes.
Wyatt Now An SVP
iHeartMedia has named Jeff Wyatt Senior VP of Programming for Baltimore. He also picks up the PD gig at WPOC-FM and JACK-FM. Wyatt moves to Baltimore from iHeart's Virginia-Carolina Region where he was VP of Programming and PD for 96.9 The Kat in Charlotte.
The Chuck Wagon Pulls Into WASH-FM
The iHeartMedia Washington, D.C., station has brought in Tommy Chuck to be Program Director for 97.1 WASH-FM, “Washington’s Variety of the 80s, 90s and Today.” Chuck has spent the last two years programming sister stations HOT 99.5 and 93.1 WPOC in the D.C. region. He joined iHeartMedia in 2000 at WKXJ Chattanooga, TN.
Terry Foster Retires
The co-host of Valenti and Foster on WXYT-FM/97.1 The Ticket, Detroit, has retired from the station. Foster suffered a stroke and was on medical leave for much of the second half of 2016. He returned to the show in January but has now decided to refocus his time on his health and his family.
Former Packer Star AJ Hawk Joining 97.1 The Fan
The Lombardi Award winner, two-time All-American, and Super Bowl champion will team up with Anthony Rothman every Monday during the summer for Off-Season with AJ Hawk, airing noon – 1 p.m. The show will feature talk about the Ohio State Buckeyes, NFL, as well as other hot sports topics and opinion.
Bell Moves From Florence to Savannah
Cumulus is moving Mike Bell over to Hip Hop station WEAS-FM in Savannah as the new PD. Bell was PD for Cumulus' mainstream Urban station WYNN-FM in Florence, SC. Prior to joining Cumulus, Bell was on the air and an APD in Tyler, TX, and Madison, WI.

WEEI's Kirk & Callahan morning show were invited by Press Secretary Sean Spicer to attend President Trump's reception for the five-time Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots. They also broadcast their show live from D.C.
