KMGA-FM is owned by Cumulus in Albuquerque. Doug Durocher is the new morning co-host joining Meredith Dunkel. Durocher joins KMGA following 10 years as morning host on KCXX-FM in Riverside and on KPOI in Honolulu.

Alpha Media's KUPL-FM in Portland has hired Tony Russell to work morning drive on the country station. Russell began his radio career in 1998. He's also worked mornings in Dallas, Miami, and Seattle.

The Sun-Herald in Biloxi has the details about WCPR-FM host Denver Crabb who was arrested Monday morning by Biloxi police. The methamphetamine charge is a felony and Crabb's bond was set at $5,000. The paper reports Crabb also had two misdemeanor warrants.

Programming vet Sean Demery is the new PD for Alpha's KINK-FM in Portland, Oregon. Demery has worked at WNNX in Atlanta, KITS in San Francisco, KMTT in Seattle, KXRK & KLRZ in Salt Lake City, WYMS in Milwaukee, and KGGI in Riverside and San Bernardino.

Townsquare suspended longtime KCTR (Billings) morning man Paul Mushaben indefinitely last month after he posted a blog called “Indian Basketball.” Mushaben’s blog suggested the need for an all-Native-American basketball tournament because Native American fans had become so unruly and disrespectful that it was no longer a safe situation. Kathy Brown is the new PD for Cumulus' Urban radio stations, WWWZ-FM and WMGL-FM, in Charleston, SC. Brown joins Cumulus from iHeart Media-St. Louis, where she was PD of Urban station KMJM and Gospel station KATZ-AM. She replaces Terry Base.

Alana Lynn has been hired as Music Director and afternoon host for CBS Radio's KMLE-FM in Phoenix. She replaces Bryan Washington who accepted a position in another market. Lynn’s most recent experience includes morning host on KTRR and midday host on KUAD in Fort Collins, CO.

Dan Markus had been programming WOGB-FM in Green Bay, a position he held for 17 years, but now he’s back to the Appleton/Oshkosh, stations as host of mornings on WNAM-FM and host of middays on sister station 103.9 WVBO. He debuts Tuesday and will be on-air weekdays from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

The Bobby Bones Show is celebrating four years on the air, and multi-platinum artist Thomas Rhett is supplying the tunes. Rhett, who took home “Country Artist of the Year” at the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards last weekend, will treat listeners to an hour-long, in-studio concert.  He’ll be playing his hits and chatting about his life and career. It all goes down Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 7 - 8 a.m. CT.

The popular Phil Valentine Show has added KCMO/Kansas City to the list of markets where it airs. The show will fill the afternoon drive slot, 4-6 p.m. The show is #1 Persons 25-54 in Valentine’s home market of Nashville. Phil Valentine is author of the bestseller, The Conservative's Handbook.
