Danny Kanell Picked up By SiriusXM
The former ESPN host with Ryen Russillo, who was fired several months ago when the network laid off dozens, begins a daily show (1-4 p.m.) on SiriusXM channel 84 starting today. FOX Sports is also expected to announce that Kanell will be a part-time analyst for games on FS1 and FS2 starting this Saturday.
T. Morgan Headed To The Hall
Longtime Philadelphia DJ T. Morgan, who just celebrated his 50th anniversary on Philadelphia radio, will be inducted into the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia Hall of Fame. Morgan first went on the air at age 15 on WICK in Scranton.

AdLarge Media has hired Gina Suarez as Director of Affiliate Marketing and promoted Frank DeSantis to Senior VP of Business Development. DeSantis joined AdLarge as VP of Business Development in 2011. Suarez will oversee AdLarge’s affiliation efforts, along with managing specific affiliate programs and products. Most recently, Suarez was Manager of Affiliate Relations at Sun Broadcast Group.

Scott assumes the role for both NASH FM 97.3/WFYR and 92.3 FM/WZPW in Peoria, IL. He has over 20 years’ experience in radio, and programmed stations in Atlanta, Birmingham, Mobile, and the Quad Cities region. He starts Tuesday, September 5, 2017.

As of Monday, August 28, Scott will be the new morning show host for Swick Communications' 100.3 WLKI (Angola, IN) as well as tracking both Country and Classic hits for their Local Area Networks. Steve Swick is the owner of the facility of stations.

Beach is one of the most recognized names in Western New York where he's entertained listeners for 35 years. He currently hosts mornings on Entercom's Newsradio WBEN-AM in Buffalo.
WBZ Welcomes Back Josh Binswanger
WBZ NewsRadio 1030 AM has hired veteran TV and radio anchor Josh Binswanger as morning drive anchor. He'll work alongside WBZ’s Deb Lawler. Binswanger began his career when he was 14. From 1990-1995 Binswanger hosted and produced WBZ’s Kid Company, a live weekly two-hour radio talk show for kids 8-15. In 1993, Kid Company won a Peabody Award.
