The station has drafted New York Giants safety Landon Collins and former New York Jets linebacker Bart Scott to help with NFL coverage for the coming season. Beginning Monday, September 11, Collins will join The Michael Kay Show (weekdays 3-7 p.m.) every Monday at 4:30 p.m. ET. Scott will be heard four times a week, as both a guest and as a co-host of New York’s Game Day.

Hubbard Radio's WTMX (101.9 The Mix) is parting ways with Eric & Kathy co-host Kathy Hart, who abruptly vanished from the successful morning show back in April. On Thursday, Hubbard announced that Hart won't be back. Hubbard Chicago Market Manager Jeff England said, "We wish her all the best as she moves on to the next stage of her career."

Gregg will host a new 30-minute program, Flashpoint, on KYW Newsradio as a forum for local and national influencers, as well as listeners, to share their points of view on the most relevant Philadelphia news stories of the week. The show airs Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m.

Taking full responsibility for being arrested for being too drunk and entering someone else's home while on vacation in Wyoming, ESPN Radio's Ryen Russillo returned to work Tuesday with a lengthy and sincere apology. He made no excuses for what he did and he talked about how depressed he was after getting in trouble.

Veteran programmer Mike Thomas has signed a multi-year extension with the company. He will continue in his multi-platform role as Vice President of Sports Programming for CBS Radio and Vice President of Programming for CBS Radio Boston. Thomas has nearly 20 years of top management experience as a radio program director.

Van Etten will focus on marketing and strategy for Country Radio Broadcasters, Country Radio Seminar, and its affiliated events. She joins the CRS team from Round Hill Music, where she served as Administration Coordinator.

Nikki Corl has been named Marketing Director for the Charlotte Market and the Carolinas. She will work closely with Program Directors, sales, and on-air personalities to create unique marketing opportunities in Charlotte. She will also oversee marketing for all on-air programming, events, and partnerships across the Carolinas.

Four staff members of WSOU 89.5 FM, the student-run radio station of Seton Hall University, have been selected as National Association of Broadcasters Student Scholars. Each will receive a scholarship to attend the 2017 Radio Show (Sept. 5-8) in Austin, TX, where they will participate in special educational programming and networking events.

Christian station AM 980 "The Mission" is bringing in Solomon for the weekday 4-6 p.m. slot to host The Steven Solomon Show. Solomon hails from Knoxville, TN, where he had his own show on Talk Radio 92.3FM & AM 760. He starts his new gig Tuesday, September 5.

Some home-grown talent is joining the weekend roster at 105.1 The BOUNCE (WMGC-FM) in the Motor City beginning on Saturday, September 2 at 10 a.m. Cortney Hicks will now be heard every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The station also recently added Detroit Hip Hop identity A.P. “The Absolute Princess” (A.P.) to the team, 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday nights.
