New Licensing Head Hired at ASCAP
ASCAP has appointed Stephanie Ruyle as EVP and Head of Licensing. She'll replace Vincent Candilora wo's retiring. Ruyle will be responsible for ASCAP’s licensing revenues and operations across all platforms including broadcast and cable TV, terrestrial and satellite radio, digital, concerts, venues, retail, restaurants, bars and background music.
iHeart Promotes Howard
James Howard has been named VP of Programming for iHeart in Washington, DC. It's a newly created position. Howard will also program DC101 and BIG100. iHeartMedia Washington, DC, includes HOT 99.5, 97.1 WASH-FM, DC101, 98.7 WMZQ, BIG 100, and 104.7.
Hall Leaves Univision For LBI
Spanish-language broadcaster LBI Media has appointed Jason Hall as SVP for national sales. The 20-year television sales executive will lead the company’s TV, radio, and digital sales. Hall moves to LBI with 17 years experience at Univision, where he was VP of advertising sales. Hall will be based in the company’s New York City office.
Entercom’s Doyle, Heading to College Hall
Eight broadcasters, including two from the radio industry, will be inducted into the inaugural College at Brockport WBSU Hall of Fame. Entercom's Michael Doyle and former WTAR/WLTY Norfolk GM Ron Reger are among those being honored. A ceremony will be held April 14, 2018 on the upstate New York campus.
Zierlein And Granato Together Again
Lance Zierlein and John Granato, whose top-rated morning show led Houston’s sports talk radio market for years, will reunite to take over the morning drive slot on ESPN 97.5 FM from 7:00 to 9:30 a.m. each weekday, beginning today.
Ty Bailey Lands APD Gig At WMZQ
Washington, DC, with a start date of November 27. In this role Bailey will assist in overseeing the station’s on-air and music programming. She will report to Jeff Kapugi, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Washington, DC. Bailey returns to DC from WZTB in Tampa
Lulu And Lala to Miami
Lulu & Lala have been named on-air evening show hosts at Hot Adults Contemporary Hits station 93.9 MIA/Miami, effective Monday, December 4. While keeping their WKTU and Southwest Florida’s New Y100.1 evening host positions, Lulu & Lala will add Monday through Friday, 7 p.m.-midnight, on 93.9 MIA.
WZLX Boston Has A New PD
It's one of the stations iHeartMedia picked up in the swap with CBS/Entercom before that deal closed. The Classic Rocker will now be programmed by Chris Tyler. Tyler most recently served as PD for iHeartMedia Cleveland at WMMS and KISS-FM.

FOX News Channel has signed nationally syndicated radio talk show personality Mark Levin as host of Life, Liberty & Levin, a new weekend primetime program debuting in February 2018, announced Suzanne Scott, President of Programming.

McGinn has been named new afternoon drive personality (3-7 p.m.) on Beasley's MAGIC 98.3 in Somerset New Jersey. The radio veteran was most recently heard doing weekends on 92.3 AMP Radio in New York.
