Cara Carriveau has resigned as afternoon host at WSHE-FM/Chicago, “The New SHE 100.3,” a position that she has held since March 2015. "I am so appreciative of all of the wonderful opportunities Hubbard Radio Chicago has given me. To have hosted afternoons on WSHE after hosting middays on WTMX, two of the most impressive radio stations in the country much less Chicago."

Entercom's 100.7 The Wolf (KKWF-FM/Seattle) has hired Emily Raines as co-host of its morning show The Morning Wolfpack with Matt McAllister. Raines joins The Wolf from iHeart's The Bull (WUBL) in Atlanta where she was part of the morning show.

STAR 99.9/Bridgeport, CT, morning hosts Anna and Raven developed the idea of “Trick or Treat Day” and now it will be debated in the Government Administration and Elections Committee on Monday morning at 11a.m. It is known as Senate Bill 253.

Urban One Founder and Chairperson Cathy Hughes will receive the 2018 Lowry Mays Excellence in Broadcasting Award from the Broadcasters Foundation of America. The award will be presented at the Foundation's annual breakfast on Wednesday, April 11 at the NAB Show in Las Vegas.

After 13 years with the station, afternoon co-host Michael Holley is leaving Entercom Sports Talker WEEI in Boston. He'll be taking on an expanded role with NBC Sports Boston. Holley has been with WEEI since 2005, and part of the station's afternoon show for the past seven years. Wednesday was his last day.

Tina Commodore has been named Integrated News Director for Cox Media’s converged Tulsa market. In her new role she will drive news content for TV and radio brands, including Fox 23 News and News 102.3 and AM740 KRMG.

Tori Dunn has been named the new Promotions and Marketing Director of Country 98.9 (KNUC/Seattle). Dunn was most recently the Promotions and Marketing Coordinator at Warm 106.9 and has held positions at KKWF (Country), KMTT (AAA), KWJZ (Smooth Jazz), and KQMV (Top 40).

Sports Network SB Nation Radio is launching a new show, Two Man Game, featuring former NBA star Mario Elie and popular radio host Joel Blank. The show launches March 10 and will air across the network each Saturday, 3-4 p.m. ET. Elie brings over 25 years’ experience as both a coach and player in the National  Basketball Association.

90.5 WESA News Director Patrick Doyle announced Wednesday that veteran Pittsburgh Post-Gazette journalist Chris Potter is joining Pittsburgh’s NPR News Station to lead a new initiative focused on government and accountability.
