Echo Robinson has been named Director of Marketing and Promotions for iHeart’s Chicago Region. In her new role, Robinson will be responsible for managing the planning and execution of marketing, promotion, sales partnerships, and imaging campaigns for the region.

Citizen Kelly is back on the air at AM 1590 WCGO/Chicago, replacing Glenn Beck. The Citizen Kelly Show airs weekdays from 10 p.m. to midnight beginning Monday, March 19. 

The veteran radio personality is back on the air Monday 3/19 after ten-month absence to deal with throat cancer. Wainwright said the cancer was discovered last April almost by accident, and it's been an ongoing medical odyssey ever since.

Eric Small, the founder of Modulation Sciences, was struck and killed at a Publix in Delray Beach this past weekend. The elderly driver of the vehicle apparently had a heart attack and lost control of her car, striking Small and another person who also died.

49ers Hall of Fame wide receiver and three-time Super Bowl champion Jerry Rice is to become a weekly contributor to Bay Area Sports Station 95.7 The Game. Rice will contribute to coverage throughout the 2018 NFL off-season, including breaking news, the NFL Draft, free agency and more.

ESPN SportsCenter’s Marty Smith will expand his ESPN presence with a new weekly podcast on ESPN Audio. Marty Smith’s America … The Podcast will launch Monday, March 19, with country music’s Jason Aldean as the first guest.

Horn will be Operations Manager for the cluster and Program Director of 103.1 The Wolf. He replaces Gregory “Big Moose” Juszczyk who recently relocated. Previously, Horn served as PD for WEBL in Memphis, WYZB in Fort Walton Beach, as well as other positions in the region.

On Saturday, March 10, the Colorado Broadcasters Association hosted its annual Awards of Excellence Gala. For the first time ever, high school and college students who created outstanding works for school radio and/or television programs were recognized with the “Future Broadcasters Award.”

Tracy Johnson Media Group has announced a new online training course for any radio talent that wants to become an on-air superstar. Johnson's "Audience Magnet" course is a series of 58 on-demand videos. 

Entercom has announced Susan Larkin as the Market Manager for Entercom New York. Larkin replaces John Fullam who's been the interim market manager overseeing New York and Denver. Fullam will be moving full-time to Denver after April 9.
