Pamela Russo (pictured here) has been named Senior Vice President and General Manager, and Christopher Rosen Editorial Director, for Entercom’s Radio.com. Russo will report to JD Crowley, Executive Vice President of Digital at Entercom, and Rosen will report to Russo.

Alpha Media, San Jose has named Dave Numme Content Director of KBAY and KEZR. “I am excited to return to the Bay Area and join Alpha Media to work with Lori Heeren and her team to continue to grow these two awesome brands,” said Numme.

Midday host and Music Director Billy Vidal has been promoted to Program Director for San Francisco station Q102.1 (KRBQ-FM). Vidal’s new role is in addition to his current on-air work, weekdays 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. PST.

Yesi Ortiz has been named midday host for 97.1 AMP Radio (KAMP-FM) in Los Angeles. Ortiz, the “Queen of LA” spent the past 12 years on air at Power 106FM in LA where she was known for breaking new artists.

93.3 WMMR/Philadelphia’s Preston & Steve Show morning personality Kathy Romano hosted her 11th annual Kathy’s Cuts to benefit Wigs for Kids on Friday, April 13, at TruBeauty Concepts in Southampton.

Jules Riley has been named Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia St. Louis. Riley has over 15 years of experience in radio, including roles as Operations Manager, Brand Manager, Program Director, on-air personality, and voice talent.

Dickey Broadcasting Company has signed former Atlanta Braves player Jeff Francoeur to 680 The Fan/Atlanta. Francoeur will be joining Cellini & Dimino with Nick Cellini and Atlanta Braves Broadcaster Chris Dimino every Tuesday throughout the 2018 Braves season.

Atzimba Palomares Barriga has been named Digital Program Director for iHeart Tucson, effective June 1. Meanwhile, Nick Bruns has been named Promotions and Events Director for iHeart Tucson, effective May 1.

US101 (WUSY-FM) host Billy “Dex” Poindexter, one of Country radio’s best-known personalities and one-half of the award winning Dex and Mo Show, is retiring from the Chattanooga station after 25 years on the air.

Our condolences to the iHeartMedia team in Boston. Lana Jones died suddenly Wednesday morning after collapsing at home. She was 62. Jones was a general assignment reporter for WBZ in Boston. She joined the station in 1991 as a news writer, editor, and fill-in anchor/reporter. The last story she covered was the funeral of Patriots radio announcer Gil Santos Tuesday night.
