John Richards has been named Country Program Director for WQIK/Jacksonville, with additional programming responsibilities in Tallahassee, FL, at WTNT, and WPAP/Panama City Beach, FL. Richards joins the North Florida markets from Corpus Christi, TX, and Harlingen-Brownsville-McAllen, TX.

FOX News Radio will debut Benson and Harf on Monday, May 7, announced President of News Jay Wallace. Co-hosted by FOX News Channel contributor Guy Benson and analyst Marie Harf, the program will air weekdays, 6 - 8 p.m. ET.

Bloom is the new Operations Manager and will have oversight of 830 WCCO (WCCO-AM), BUZ’N @ 102.9 (KMNB-FM) and 104.1 JACK FM (KZJK-FM). Bloom served as Operations Manager for CBS Radio Philadelphia from 2007 to 2016.

Longtime radio research executive Laura Ivey has joined Edison Research. Ivey, who has had a variety of roles at Arbitron and Nielsen dating back to 1996, most recently was Account Director for the Southeast region for Nielsen’s radio ratings.

The president of Illinois-based Withers Broadcasting and Dana Communications has been named Illinois Broadcasters Association’s 2018 IBA/Vincent T. Wasilewski Broadcaster of the Year.

The Ed Lover Morning Show, has been launched on Chicago Throwback station 104.3 Jams (WBMX-FM). Industry veteran Ed Lover will host the station’s debut morning show along with lifelong Chicagoan Jennifer Farina, known as “Jen BT.”

The Stephen A. Smith Show joins the lineup on SportsMap 94.1FM/Houston, Monday, April 9. The show will air each weekday from 1-3 p.m. CT. “H-town here I come. It’s a struggle to put into words how excited I am to have my show broadcasting in Houston," said Smith.

Stewart Vanderwilt has been named the new president of Colorado Public Radio. He succeeds Max Wycisk who retires on June 30. Vanderwilt has over three decades of experience leading public radio organizations.

Mike Hartel has been named Alpha Media’s EVP of the Mid-Atlantic Region. He will oversee Columbia, SC, Fredericksburg, VA, Hagerstown-Chambersburg, PA, Bluefield, WV, Dayton, OH, and Canton, OH.
