Katz Media Group has appointed Stacey Schulman to Chief Marketing Officer where she will lead a team across both Katz Radio Group and Katz Television Group, responsible for marketing strategy and insights for Katz’s 14 regional offices. Those offices serve over 3,300 radio stations and 800 TV stations.

Steve Giannini is the new GSM at Riviera Broadcasting in Phoenix for Hot 97.5 (KMVA-FM), Power 98.3 (KKFR-FM), and 95.1 The Oasis (KOAI). Previously, he was the GSM at Salem Media Group (KKNT, KPXQ, and KXXT) in Phoenix.

In Washington, DC, Emily Sklar has been named the new on-air personality for Hot 99.5’s The Kane Show, effective Monday, May 14. Sklar will be on-air weeknights, 7 p.m.–12 a.m.

Nikki Blades has been named co-host of The Morning Block Party on Top 40/Rhythmic station KWIN-FM in Stockton-Modesto, CA. Blades joins co-host Lucas, weekdays 6-10 a.m., moving to mornings from the midday slot.

ACM award winner and platinum-selling singer/songwriter Jake Owen will host Westwood One’s annual “Summer Kick Off” Memorial Day special. The four-hour Memorial Day weekend special broadcast is available to stations nationwide.

The Conclave will present the 2018 Rockwell Award to Weezie Kramer, Chief Operating Officer, Entercom. Kramer will receive the award at the 2018 Conclave Summer Learning Conference, set for Wednesday, July 18 through Friday, July 20.

The restructuring continues at United States Traffic Network. On Wednesday, USTN hired Richard Marks as Chief Operating Officer. Marks will work directly with CEO Ivan Shulman to rebuild the USTN brand, grow the company and increase revenue as it works on fixing its massive financial woes..

Lucas Phelan has been promoted to PD at KMNB-FM in Minneapolis, moving up from APD. Phelan will also keep his afternoon drive shift on the station.

Shannon Beaver is the new Morning Show Producer for The Morning Mess on LIVE 101.5 (KALV-FM) in Phoenix. Prior to joining Entercom, Beaver was at KZZP in Phoenix. She joined KZZP in 2010 and was promoted to Morning Show Producer shortly after.

Felicia Monet has been with WEDR-FM, aka 99 JAMZ, “South Florida’s biggest hip-hop station,” for 10 years. But last week she stepped down from her role as afternoon host to concentrate on her latest passion: her non-profit organization, “I Am Greater Than Yesterday!”
