New Piscopo Producer

Joseph Sibilia is the new permanent producer for The Joe Piscopo Show. Long-time producer Frank Morano has exited the program carried on Salem Media The Answer WNYM-AM 970 in New York.

Premiere Promotes Tripi

Peter Tripi has been promoted to Executive VP of Affiliate Sales. In his new position, Tripi’s previous role as SVP of Affiliate Sales/Talk and Morning Shows will be expanded to include oversight of affiliate sales and marketing for all of Premiere’s talent.

Kenyon Wins Lifetime Achievment Award

Entercom Detroit Market Manager Debbie Kenyon was recently presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters. Kenyon joins a group of only 31 other broadcasters honored with this award since 1989.

McCollim Moving To Texas

iHeartMedia Austin/San Antonio announced today that Jason McCollim has been named Senior VP of Programming. The iHeart Austin and San Antonio clusters total 15 stations.

Cox Host Wins Nifty New Award

The Tulsa Music Awards has named Natalie Cash from KWEN-FM's Cash & Bradley Show Tulsa’s Favorite Radio Personality.  This is the first year for this award category and the nominations included local radio hosts from all music genres. 

CPB Promotes Gales Webb

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting has named Jacquie Gales Webb as VP of Radio. Gales Webb, most recently a CPB director of content, joined the CPB Radio department in 2005 as a project manager.

From D.O.S. To Market Manager

NRG Media has hired Allyson Hillman to run the Cedar Rapids/Waterloo market which includes KOKZ, KFMW, KXEL and KPTY. Hillman is headed to Cedar Rapids from Fort Myers where she worked for Beasley as D.O.S.

Pags Celebrates Ten

Premiere Networks announced today that this month marks Joe Pags’ 10-year anniversary as host of The Weekend. The three-hour weekend talk program is heard on over 300 stations. Pags started his broadcasting career in 1989 in Palm Beach Florida.

A New Bay Area Morning Show

98.5 KFOX (KUFX-FM,San Jose) welcomed a new morning show this week. San Jose's Great Radio Experiment was created from in-house talent at the Bonneville Classic Rocker.

Larry Elder Premieres Documentary

Salem Radio Network host Larry Elder premiered a new documentary he produced June 19. Elder served as the Executive Producer of UNCLE TOM: An Oral History of the American Black Conservative.
