Eastlan Ratings has enlarged its client training and support team with Jay Kelly and Tommy Ehrman as it looks to increase market expansion in 2027. The company is planning to announce several staff additions and numerous new markets in the next few weeks.
Kelly is a broadcast and digital consultant who spent many years as a major-market drive-time talent and Program Director in Seattle, Minneapolis, Salt Lake City, and Kansas City. His experience with Wet Fish Digital informs his work helping radio sales teams build strategies to sell digital services and compete in a cross-media landscape.
Ehrman, a small- and medium-market specialist, started his career as a part-time janitor at a station in Modesto, California, and worked his way through the ranks. That path included an 18-year tenure with Citadel focused on sales and sales management. He is known for his expertise in building high-performing radio schedules.
Eastlan Ratings President Mike Gould said, “Life is too short for a phone tree to nowhere or time-sucking chatbots. When our clients need assistance, they need it now. We are resolute in our commitment to provide our clients the support they deserve: real humans who listen and respond quickly. I simply don’t understand why other ratings vendors devalue their clients by forcing them to endure inconsistent offshore support or frustrating automated chats that can’t understand basic needs.”
