Back in November of 2015 Radio Ink interviewed Cumulus Chairman of The Board Jeff Marcus. In that interview we could see the handwriting on the wall for what was announced by new CEO Mary Berner Tuesday.

Cohen was with the ratings firm for 19 years where he led Nielsen’s connected car streaming audio research initiative as VP of Measurement Innovation. He held that same position at Arbitron, following five years as VP of Research Policy and Communication and eight years as VP of Domestic Radio Research for Arbitron. Now, at Cumulus, his to do list is very long.

Heidi Raphael has been promoted to Senior VP of Corporate Communication from her recent role of VP of Corporate Communication, a position she's held since 2008. Raphael has been on of Radio Ink's “Most Influential Women in Radio” since 2006.

David Walls is the new Market Manager for Cumulus' six-station Birmingham cluster. He signs on with Cumulus after working in Birmingham as GSM and D.O.S. for 19 years for both Summit Media and Cox before they sold to Summit. Walls replaces John Walker.

They started their show as a podcast in 2011. They moved to radio last year. And now Jalen & Jacoby will become a half -hour TV show on ESPN2 featuring their best radio segments.

Lilly Gonzalez (pictured) is promoted to Executive VP of Integrated Marketing Solutions for the East Coast and Humberto Hormaza is promoted to Senior VP of Integrated Marketing Solutions in Orlando.

Country station Kicks 101.5 FM/WKHX-FM in Atlanta debuts a fresh new weekday lineup as of Tuesday. On-air personality Ali Mac comes on board as host from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. weekdays, while fellow personality CJ moves from middays to host the 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. show.

Spotify is getting to launch a new video feature it has been testing over the past several months. The company announced the plans to begin distributing videos and podcasts with content providers that include ESPN, Comedy Central, the BBC, Vice Media and Maker Studios.
