Hurst Moves To Fresno’s Soft Rock 98.9
The iHeartMedia’s station announced Wednesday that Fresno radio personality Jason Hurst is joining 98.9’s weekday lineup. He’ll join Teri Ann Schlesser to host the new Jason and Teri Ann Morning Show. The new program will debut Monday, August 1 and will air weekday mornings from 5-10 a.m.
Inaugural BMI Scholarship Awarded
Twenty-year-old Messiah College student Mikaela Mummert has won the inaugural, nationwide BMI Founders Award for Radio Broadcasting scholarship competition. Mummet was presented the $5,000 scholarship award by BMI Vice President of Industry Relations and scholarship Director Dan Spears, along with BMI Foundation Executive Vice President David F. Bills, at the 41st annual Conclave Learning Conference on July in Minneapolis.
