Cumulus Media CEO Mary Berner will appear on Radio Ink's 2016 NAB/RAB Radio Show cover in September. She makes her debut on our 40 Most Powerful People in Radio list at number three. Berner will also report Q2 earnings Thursday afternoon as we edge closer to her one year anniversary as CEO. WBAL NewsRadio 1090 and 98 ROCK in Baltimore​, with support from WBAL-TV and the Baltimore Ravens, raised close to $20,000 for victims of last weekend's flood in Ellicott City, MD.

Alpha Louisville's WMJM, WGZB, and WGHL held their 2nd Annual Stuff the Bus event at a Walmart and Outlet Shoppes where supplies were collected for the upcoming Supply a Dream Back to School Block Party. Last Year over 2,000 individuals attended the celebration.

The collective of seven regional stations will chalk up their ninth radiothon in support of the Children’s Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina, August 4-5, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. They’ll be partnering with the Greenville Health System for the event. The radiothon will be broadcast live on all seven Entercom Upstate stations.

Well-known Chicago radio personality "Ramblin" Ray Stevens will join John Howell on the WLS-AM morning show starting Monday. Stevens and Howell worked together for several years at Country outlet US99.5 in Chicago.
